Who would have thought there’d be a restaurant in Australia that actually used the word ‘natto’ as part of its business name? Certainly not me. Regardless, the range of natto options at this restaurant in Pacific Fair on the Gold Coast is really good, and well worth a trip if you’re in need of a fix. I sometimes drive 25 minutes as the value even from that distance is up there.
On this occasion, I had not just a gunkanmaki, but a temaki too, and it was big! Both were attractively priced as well, especially for the quantity of natto inside. I’m sure they don’t sell much of the good stuff, but I’m happy to order here any day.
